WOUND CARE

At Bliss Specialty Healthcare Group, we focus on providing advanced wound care services wherever our patients may be, whether at home, in assisted living facilities, or skilled nursing facilities. Our goal is straightforward: to promote faster healing, reduce complications, and enhance patient comfort.

Our wound care specialists are trained to address and treat all types of acute and chronic wounds. They possess the skills and experience necessary for wound debridement and various wound care procedures, effectively managing chronic, non-healing wounds and infections, while fostering healing within the patient’s own home.

We specifically cater to homebound patients, many of whom may be bed-bound or have difficulty walking or moving. This immobility can lead to compression sores that develop at pressure points on the body when the weight of an immobilized individual rests continuously on a firm surface, such as a mattress or wheelchair. Often, these patients are on oxygen or have high-risk medical conditions, making it challenging and stressful for them to travel to a doctor's office for appointments. Hence, in-home care and treatment become essential.
